2007 Membership
Application
Our meetings start at 7:30pm and are held at the
Marblehead Community Center at 10 Humphrey St. in Marblehead on the 2nd Tuesday of
every month, with the exception of July & August (too many fish
in the area at that time). These meetings usually have a guest
speaker, question and answer period, refreshments, raffle table, and
time to talk to others and keep up on those new secret fishing holes
and are currently open to the public.
We run a Striped Bass/Bluefish Tournament which runs from
May 1st through October 31st each year. We award prizes for the
largest fish caught in our Surf, Boat and Flyrod divisions. In
addition, we sponsor many other events during the year, including a
Juniors Tournament in late May, early June at Devereux Beach, a
Mackerel Trip in the spring, our Cape Cod Canal trip TBA.
Some of the other clubs in the area have similar events
in which we also participate, the Tri State Tournament held in
Massachusetts, Maine and Rhode Island and the Plum Island
Invitational usually held in May or June.
We attend State fisheries meetings to keep our Members up
to date on the latest news, laws and regulations.
We have an annual banquet that is held in January where
we have music, great food, lots of fun and our Awards and
Presentations for the year. Children are always invited to attend
any event.
